Counselor
Hello Creekside Families!
My name is Sarah Crawford and I am the new part time School Counselor for Creekside Elementary. My primary goal is to work with students to help them become the best versions of themselves socially, emotionally, and academically. This is my first year working in the San Ramon Unified School District and I am very excited to be here. I am the counselor for two sites, so I will be at Creekside every Thursday and Friday, along with every other Wednesday.
First, I would like to tell you a little about myself. I grew up in San Ramon and attended K-12 in SRVUSD (Walt Disney, Pine Valley, and Cal High). I received both my Bachelor’s and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Sonoma State University. After four years of teaching in Salinas, I moved to San Diego to attend the University of San Diego to obtain my Master’s in School Counseling. After graduating, I moved to Dublin where I currently live with my two cats, Desmond and Luna.
Things Miss Crawford does:
- Classroom Social and Emotional Lessons
- Group Counseling (EX. Friendship skills, Coping Skills, and How to Be a Learner)
- Individual Counseling (available to all students)
- Collaboration with school staff, families, and outside agencies
- Plan and manage school wide activities that support the counseling program, school, and staff
