Para Professionals/Intervention Specialists

Works directly with all students providing additional services to children in the classrooms. Allows opportunities for individual/small group instruction thus allowing the teachers to meet the needs of all students in the classroom.
 

Rainbow Para Professional

Will provide students with time during their normal school activities to share feelings and experiences. The program will provide students with self-confidence, stronger social skills and a positive attitude towards school. In addition, they will provide three days a week of noontime aide assistance to help struggling students in our school.

Art Teachers

Provides all students an opportunity to have direct art instruction in the classroom. Allows students an opportunity to work with our kiln and other projects throughout the year. 

Vocal Music Teacher

Teacher Allows Creekside Elementary School to have a vocal program, providing students with an opportunity to access music in the classroom every week. 

STEAM Instructors

This teacher would have direct access to all students throughout their assigned time at the school to ensure that our 21st Century learning is being met at our school. Assists in curriculum decisions and will be familiar with the iWorks and iLife applications.  In addition, can provide our teachers with professional development throughout the year in working with the MacBooks.
 

Library Coordinator

Provides general daily operations and maintenance of the library collection; collaborates with teachers to identify support materials for classroom studies; works with students to expand and enrich their reading experience; develops the library collections through extensive reviews and research; provides training to students and teachers in the use of the on-line catalog and co-chairs the library fundraiser and the Scholastic Book Fair.  The district pays for 10 hours a week and private funding allows for the library to be open during school hours all week.

Reading Specialist & Instructional Assistant

This certificated teacher and assistant will provide services to our students whose reading levels are basic or below on State Test levels. This person will also work with at-risk students (K – 5) identified by the teachers.  They will also be responsible for implementing various interventions at all grade levels to support struggling readers in decoding, fluency and/or comprehension.
 

Raz-Kids Subscription 

The Raz-Kids animated leveled books and interactive quizzes give educators choices. Students listen to books read aloud, read with vocabulary and pronunciation support, and read without support. They read freely in the bookroom. This is for a 1-year subscription for K-2nd grades. 
 

Teacher Stipends (if Fundraising Goals are exceeded)

An allowance given to teachers to help support their classroom needs.
